My love of fixing motorized vehicles began in my grandparents’ backyard, working on sand rails and dirt bikes. My grandpa, dad, and uncles would have us fetch tools while they repaired whatever they had broken in the desert. In high school, my friends and I had hot rods and spent countless hours tinkering with them. At 18, I got my first job at a quick lube shop, and from that moment on, I was hooked. Over the years, I worked in various shops, gaining experience in everything from oil changes to transmission repairs, eventually moving into management roles.
However, life took a difficult turn. Alcohol took control, and I lost everything—my job, my home, and my relationships. By 2013, at 35 years old, I found myself broken, homeless, and at my lowest point. I had reached a place where I felt there was nothing left for me. But in April 2014, I made the decision to ask for help. Thanks to the incredible people who supported me, I was able to rebuild my life from the ground up.
I embraced honesty, integrity, and service to others, striving to become a person who lifts up those around me. That journey led me to create Phoenix Auto Repair, a name that symbolizes rising from the ashes and embracing new beginnings.
